Product presentation

Snow White NextGen resin, developed by FunToDo, is the first in this market segment. The new generation Snow White has become a very easy to print and beautiful product.

The resolution of NextGen Snow White is phenomenal, and resolutions of 0.05mm are easily achievable with a suitable printer

Printing time is reduced by up to 30% compared to the first generation SNOW WHITE

Its white color makes it an ideal resin for printing architectural or technical designs in which white is the predominant color.
It is white and stays white! (you will need a UV chamber to obtain the milky white)
The printed part has the look and feel of injection molded plastic.
Snow White NextGen resin is particularly suitable for Top Down design printers.
Combine Snow White NextGen resin with Fun To Do pigment to create any pastel color you desire.

What's new

The properties of this resin are quite similar to the old version. The improvements made to this new formula concern speed, strength, color and precision. With a suitable printer, prints can reach a resolution of 0.05mm! Whatever the layer thickness, the rendering of the parts is also very resistant. This new version incorporates a sharper white color than the original version.

About Fun To Do resins

All Fun To Do resins are designed to be super fast!
Cure times of 0.5 seconds for 0.02 mm layers are easily achieved on standard DLP printers with a light source of approximately 240 Watts.

A wide range of responsiveness!
Resins Fun To Do have a very wide range of reactivity, it extends from very short wavelengths of 225 nm to wavelengths close to the visible of 420 nm.
By incorporating a very good mix of photoinitiators and sensitizers, almost any light source can be used to initiate the polymerization process of our resins.
No need to modify your DLP projector.
Do you have an SLA laser machine, or perhaps a DLP printer with an LED lighting source? As long as the wavelength is between 225nm and 415nm, it will work, and it will work fast!
Besides the wavelength of the light source, several other factors are important, so please consult our product sheets. If you have any doubts about the compatibility of your machine with our resins, simply send us an email.

Fun To Do resins have very low shrinkage!
Where 3.5% is considered a low shrinkage, we have limited it to 0.5%.
It's basically what you see is what you get.
3.5% seems to be small but if you take a 10cm object, 3.5% is 3.5mm (which is almost half a centimeter!) It's huge compared to the 0.5mm that resins Fun To Do reach.

Natural resistance to water and most chemicals!
Fun To Do resins have a natural resistance against water.
In liquid form they are highly hydrofobic.
Once fully cured, there are virtually no chemicals that can dissolve them.
In our tests, printed parts have withstood the elements and various chemicals for several years!
To see which chemicals were tested, scroll further down.

Chemical resistance
Fun To Do resins have been tested with a wide range of chemicals:

  • White Spirit
  • Alcohol / Ethyl alcohol
  • Diluent
  • Hydrochloric acid and various other acids
  • Sulfuric acid
  • Acetone
  • Essence
  • Isobutanol
  • Xylene
  • Lamp oil / Engine oil / Olive oil / Brake fluid
  • Water

This list, not exhaustive, is always expanding: each new chemical product is tested by immersing a printed part in it for a week or two.

Post-printing

After printing, a slight yellow tone may appear. The photo-bleaching properties of the resin are progressive. The white color is reached when the print has completely cured.

For your safety Wanhao France recommends handling this resin with gloves and a spatula .
