The Duplicator 12 / 300 PRO MAX is the latest FDM 3D printer model (filament deposition) from Wanhao, designed to suit both beginners and professionals. It offers a compact format with a generous print volume of 300x300x400 mm, ensuring exceptional print quality. It is equipped with many features aimed at making the printing process reliable, including a filament runout sensor, print resume, magnetic bed, touchscreen, and much more.

This machine is available in Direct Drive, but it is also convertible to Dual Extruder, allowing you to mix two different types of filaments within the same print. However, please note that managing two filaments simultaneously is more suitable for experienced users.

The printer comes pre-assembled, which means you only need to attach the gantry to the base, fix the spool holder and extruder, and connect a few cables together. To guide you through this step, we provide our customers with a complete assembly guide in French.

Print quality

The Duplicator 12 / 300 PRO MAX is powered by an MKS 32-bit motherboard paired with high-precision, quiet stepper motors for horizontal movements, type TMC 2209. You will achieve smooth surfaces and perfectlyrendered details.

Thanks to its belt tensioning system, "ghosting" effects are almost nonexistent. You can print layers ranging from 0.08 mm to 0.28 mm with the original 0.4 mm nozzle, which covers a wide range of applications, whether for functional or artistic parts.

The extrusion system is based on Titan technology and BMG (in Direct Drive), offering high torque to handle all types of filaments.

Although a recommended print speed of 60 mm/s is optimal, the Duplicator D12 300 PRO MAX can push its limits and allow prints at 100 mm/s or even more. Its lightweight head results in very low inertia, and the precision electronics perform all movement calculations without slowing down.

Ease of use

In addition to its easy and quick assembly, the Duplicator D12 is user-friendly on a daily basis: it offers a large color touchscreen giving you access to most of the machine's controls. Of course, it can be operated remotely via a USB connection. File transfer for printing is done via a Micro SD card or USB stick with files prepared using the most popular software such as Cura, Simplify 3D, IdeaMaker, to name a few.

It also offers Wifi connectivity to transfer your files if the Micro SD card is already inserted.

It features a removable magnetic bed allowing for lightning-fast removal of 3D prints and its belt tensioning system will make maintenance easy.

It is also a quiet machine with motor movements that are relatively inaudible and supported by fairly discreet fans.

Finally, you can count on the printer to pause thanks to its filament sensorif it runs out or resume printing in case of a power outage.

Single or dual extrusion (optional)

The Duplicator 12 300 PRO MAX is available in two versions: single Direct Drive extrusion and dual extruders, allowing you to print two different types of filaments in the same print. This offers a variety of options for your creations, whether you want to use two different colors or two distinct materials.

The Y-shaped filament collection system located before the nozzle makes it easier to guide the filament to be printed. However, please note that this option requires an understanding of FDM printers and mastery of filament retraction settings.

We recommend the Dual Extruder model primarily to experienced users, or to beginners wishing to upgrade to this option after gaining experience. It is also possible to start with the Single Extruder model and later add the kit to switch to Dual Extruder.
