Presentation

The Duplicator 12/500 PRO MAX is the latest FDM (filament deposition) 3D printer model from Wanhao, designed to suit both for beginners and professionals . It offers a compact format with a generous print volume of 500x500x500 mm , guaranteeing exceptional print quality . It is equipped with many features aimed at making the printing process reliable, including an end of filament detector, resume printing, a magnetic platen, a touch screen, and much more.

This machine is available in Direct Drive , but it is also convertible into dual extruder, which allows you to mix two different filament types within the same print. However, please note that managing two simultaneous filaments is more suitable for experienced users.

An auto-leveling system (3D-touch) has been added to make it possible to obtain the most correct first layers possible and thus improve the reliability of the printer.

The printer East Comes pre-assembled , meaning you'll only need to attach the gantry to the base, attach the spool holder and extruder, and connect a few cables together. To guide you through this step, we provide our customers with a complete assembly guide in French.

Print quality

The Duplicator 12/500 PRO MAX is controlled by a MKS 32-bit motherboard associated with high precision and silent stepper motors for horizontal movements, type TMC 2209 . YOU you will obtain smooth surfaces and perfectly rendered details.

Thanks to its belt tensioning system, "ghosting" effects are almost non-existent. You will be able print layers ranging from 0.08 mm to 0.28 mm with the original 0.4mm nozzle, which covers a wide range of applications, whether for functional or artistic pieces.

The extrusion system is based on Titan technology and BMG (in Direct Drive), offering high torque to process all types of filaments.

Although a recommended print speed of 60 mm/s is optimal, the Duplicator D12 500 PRO MAX can push its limits and enable prints at 100 mm/s or more. Its light head generates very low inertia, and the precision electronics carry out all displacement calculations without slowing down.

Single or double extrusion (optional)

The Duplicator 12 500 PRO MAX is available in two versions: Direct Drive single extrusion And dual extruders , which allows you to print two different filament types in the same print. This provides a variety of options for your designs, whether you want to use two different colors or two distinct materials.

The Y-shaped filament collection system located before the nozzle makes it easier to control the filament to be printed. However, please note that this option requires an understanding of FDM printers and mastery of filament retraction settings.

We recommend the Dual Extruder model to experienced users as a priority, or to beginners wishing to progress to this option after gaining experience. It is also possible to start with the Single Extruder model and later add the kit to upgrade to Dual Extruder.
